Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how SK TradeLog (“SK TradeLog,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website at sktradelog.com, applications, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. Our Terms of Service and Disclaimer also apply.

We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information we collect

Account and contact information

When you register or manage your profile we may collect your name, email address, password (stored as a hash), handle, preferences, plan selection, and similar account settings. If you sign in with a third-party identity provider (such as Google, Microsoft, or Apple), we receive identifiers and profile details those providers share with us (typically email and name).

Trading and journal content

We collect information you enter or import into the Service, including trades, fills, positions, accounts, strategies, tags, playbooks, notes, notebooks, reports, dividends, and related analytics inputs. If you connect a broker or upload statements, we receive the trading and account data those sources provide for the features you enable.

Broker authorization tokens

When you authorize a broker connection, we store OAuth or similar access tokens needed to retrieve data you requested. We do not ask for or store your broker password for API connections. You can disconnect a broker in the product to revoke access.

Usage, device, and log data

We automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, and diagnostic logs (including sign-in success/failure events used for security and support).

Communications

If you contact us (email or in-app feedback/feature requests), we keep the content of those messages and related metadata so we can respond and improve the Service.

Payment information

When paid billing is enabled, payment card details are processed by our payment processor. We typically receive limited billing metadata (such as plan, status, and last four digits or a customer ID), not your full card number.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service;
  • Authenticate you, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues;
  • Calculate analytics, reports, dashboards, and other features you request;
  • Send transactional messages (verification, password reset, email change, security, and plan notices);
  • Respond to support and feedback, and improve product quality;
  • Process subscriptions and prevent fraud when billing is enabled; and
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you for analytics and product improvement.

4. When we share information

We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers. Hosting, database, email, authentication, analytics, error monitoring, and (when enabled) payment processors that process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
  • Brokers and identity providers. When you connect them, they receive what is needed to authenticate and authorize the connection under their own policies.
  • Sharing features you enable. Public share links you create make the selected trade or report viewable by anyone with the link.
  • Legal and safety. If we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights, safety, or security, or investigate fraud or abuse.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined under U.S. state privacy laws.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for sign-in sessions, security, preferences (such as theme), and basic product operation. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may break sign-in or other features.

6. Data retention

We retain account and journal data for as long as your account remains active. After you delete your account or request deletion, we remove or anonymize associated personal and trading data within a reasonable period, except for limited records we must keep for security, dispute resolution, backups, or legal compliance (for example, billing records or fraud logs). Backups may take additional time to fully expire.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the Service, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and encrypted storage of broker tokens where applicable. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use the Service at your own risk and should use a strong, unique password.

8. International transfers

We operate primarily in the United States. If you access the Service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your home country.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK and certain U.S. states such as California), you may have rights to:

  • Access or receive a copy of personal information we hold;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Request deletion of personal information;
  • Export or port certain data;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, where applicable; and
  • Appeal a denial of a consumer request, where state law provides that right.

You can update many account details in the product. To exercise other rights, email support@sktradelog.com from the email on your account. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

California residents: we collect the categories of personal information described in Section 2 for the business purposes in Section 3. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests subject to verification.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
